With Kontainer as their DAM, DAC keeps a large archive of photos and film organised, searchable and ready for exhibitions, events, learning programmes and the press. — Explore more - +33,000Files in the DAM - +1,000Videos - +650Users DAC COMPANY PROFILE ## Where Architecture, Design and City Life Meet DAC runs exhibitions, events, guided tours and learning programmes in BLOX, and works with architects and other partners to put architecture and design on the agenda. Behind every exhibition, workshop and press release is a lot of photography and film. That material needs to be easy to find, safe to use and ready to share with very different audiences, from school classes and event guests to journalists. DAC has used Kontainer as its DAM for almost two years, and the library has grown into an archive of more than 33,000 photos and videos. ![](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2026/11/Entrance_dac_square-scaled-1200x1200.webp?v=1793798805) Our archive is full of photos and film from exhibitions, events and learning programmes. With Kontainer, everyone from the team to our press contacts can find what they need, and we know that the images on our website come with alt text in both Danish and English. ![Sofie Bøgeren](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2026/11/1727119695619-150x150.webp?v=1793798633) Sofie Bøgeren Campaign Manager, Danish Architecture Center (DAC) ![Sofie Bøgeren](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2026/11/DAC_Monolit_RED_CMYK-320x225.webp?v=1793798782) ![](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2026/11/Inside_dac_square-800x802.webp?v=1793798812) The Challenge ## A Big Picture Archive, Needed in Many Places DAC’s work spans exhibitions, events, education, press and collaboration with architects, and every area both produces and relies on large amounts of photography and film. Pictures of people and events also raise questions about consent and compliance. On top of that, the website needs fast access to the right images, described in a way that works for everyone. The need is clear: one archive that serves all of it, without anyone having to dig. The Solution ## One Archive, Many Ways In DAC keeps its full image and video archive in one place in Kontainer and presents it through themed views for exhibitions, tours, education, staff, signage and more. Each team sees the slice that is relevant to them, while the material itself is only stored once. Consent and facial recognition sit on top, linking photos of people to consent agreements so the team knows what can be used, and where. Permissions and single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID give colleagues, partners and press the right level of access, and video is streamed straight from the library. The website runs on Payload CMS and fetches its images from Kontainer’s CDN. Images used on the site automatically get alt text in both English and Danish, generated by AI, so the site stays accessible without extra manual work. ![](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2026/11/DAC_app-scaled-1200x1200.webp?v=1793798928) Key Kontainer Features Used by DAC ![consent agreement icon](https://kontainersite.chost.cloud/content/2023/08/consent-template.svg?v=1787291595) Photo Consent Tool Request and manage photo consent directly from Kontainer.
