Baum und Pferdgarten is a Copenhagen-based fashion house, founded by designers Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave. The brand is known for design-led collections with a playful touch, sold through department stores and retailers in more than 25 countries.

For a fashion brand, imagery is the product’s first impression. Every season brings new product images, campaign videos and lookbooks that must reach retailers, magazines, press and internal teams quickly, and in the right version.

Kontainer is the central place where that content is stored, structured and shared, and Baum und Pferdgarten has used it since 2019.

Now that we have an integration with our ERP-system, it automatically feeds our images to the platform. We do not have to sit and spend 4-5 days making a portal ready for a season, but instead it is ready the second the last image is processed and uploaded into Kontainer.

The challenge

Right file, right partner, every season

A fashion collection means a steady flow of product images, videos and lookbooks, and all of it has to reach retailers, agents, magazines and press, as well as the teams at Baum und Pferdgarten. Before Kontainer, material was uploaded to shared drives where everyone kept their own folder logic, which made it hard to know what was current and easy for files to go missing.

Getting a collection ready for the partner portals was also a manual job. Images had to be named, tagged and entered into several systems, and preparing a single portal for a season could take four to five days.

The Solution

One structured DAM, connected to the rest of the business

Baum und Pferdgarten uses Kontainer as the single home for images, videos, lookbooks and other brand material, organized in a clear folder structure that replaced the separate drives. Search and segmentation make it quick to find the right file, and the team always knows they are working with up-to-date material.

The surrounding systems, such as the ERP system Trimit, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Shopify webshop, are connected on Baum und Pferdgarten’s side. Kontainer makes sure every image reaches the right system in the format it requires, including Trimit’s retailer portal, so portals for a new season are ready as soon as the last image is uploaded.

Retailers, press and other partners get their own logins and see only the folders, images and videos relevant to them, while internal teams such as PR and marketing have access to other areas. With release date management, a collection can be released automatically to agents, retailers and press on a chosen date.
