SAYSKY was founded in Copenhagen in 2013 and makes running apparel in collections such as Pace, Flow and Combat. The brand sells worldwide through its own web shops, running retailers and collaborations with other brands.

Behind every style sit sizes, colours, prices in several currencies, stock levels and seasonal collections, along with the images and campaign material that go with them. Every new season adds more of it.

To keep it all in one place, SAYSKY uses Kontainer PIM and DAM together: the PIM as the master for product data, and the DAM for images, video and campaign content.

The Challenge

Many Shops, One Product Range

SAYSKY sells the same collections through several Shopify web shops and a B2B shop, each with its own market, currency and prices. New styles, sizes and colours arrive every season, and every one of them needs the right data, prices and images before it can go live.

Keeping that consistent by hand across markets is slow and easy to get wrong. SAYSKY needed one place to own product data and images, and a way to send both out to every shop automatically.

The Solution

The PIM Decides, the Shops Follow

In Kontainer PIM, SAYSKY keeps one record for every style and size, with SKUs, descriptions for B2B and B2C, prices in several currencies, stock and season. Product data comes in from the ERP systems, and the PIM decides which products go to which web shop.

Channels work as a checklist along the way. Products wait in a channel until they are ready to sync, while other channels flag what is missing, such as a description, a price, an image or a product type. Gaps are caught in the PIM, before they reach a storefront.

Images come from Kontainer DAM, where the folders follow the collections. Focal points keep crops on the product, and download templates give the team ready-made formats for Google, newsletters and Business Central.

Behind the scenes, scheduled jobs run throughout the day. New and changed data moves from the DAM to the PIM every few minutes, stock is recalculated, sales start at their scheduled time and images are sent on to Shopify. Regular audits list products with incomplete data or wrong size data.
